One of the hottest designer labels in the past year is a tiny British outfit called Motel Rocks that has shot to fame riding on the back of the huge trend in the world of fashion for vintage clothing or vintage inspired clothing.
The brand is so popular today for the simple reason that the people who started the brand were themselves inspired by the vintage clothing movement. The duo, from Bristol in England were so inspired by the vintage fashion trend that they decide to save up some money and go on a trip to the west coast of the United States of America for some inspiration. There they trawled through vintage clothing store after vintage clothing store and what they found were dozens of great finds that got them hugely excited and gave them a lot of inspiration for what vintage clothing ought to be like.
When they finally headed back over the Atlantic ocean to Great Britain, they went back to Bristol and decided to start a brand that would give fashion lovers the same buzz and the same thrill of browsing through a thrift store and finding little gems in the form of great clothing pieces. With this idea and this inspiration in mind, they started the Motel Rocks label and then opened their first brand store in Bristol.
Today the brand has been making great vintage and thrift store fashion inspired clothes for over a decade and a half and it has acquired a huge and a devoted fan following along with many more stores across the length and breadth of England. The Motel brand has done particularly well in the last few years and has gained more fame than ever before due to the brand new phenomenon of celebrity fashion and celebrity endorsements. As more and more singers, stars and other celebrities are seen in the clothing from this label, it stokes more interest for the clothing that Motel Rocks makes amongst people who follow the celebrities or the people who read gossip magazines or celebrity magazines. This has led to recognition for the label not only everywhere in Great Britain but also across the pond in the United States of America as well as in main land Europe. The brand is the hottest item to be seen in this summer and their new spring summer collection for the year two thousand and eleven has just hit the stores as well as the internet.
